Mary V. Williams, MSN, NP
Mary is a nurse practitioner who has been working in hospital and primary care settings for over 30 years. Years of clinical experience managing skin problems and living among people with all different types of skin contributes to her expertise in offering skin care solutions.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rush University in Chicago. After moving to California, she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Certificate from University of California, San Francisco and San Diego campuses. She also holds a Master of Science in Health Education. She received certification in aesthetic procedures from the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, and continually participates in professional education to offer the most up-to-date recommendations and effective treatments.
In addition to serving clients of Monarch Aesthetica, Mary maintains a well-rounded advanced nursing practice in a small, private OB-GYN office with Dr. Louis A. Klein, MD. She finds each of these practice settings rewarding, particularly because they allow lasting therapeutic and working relationships to develop. Mary is fully committed to ethical recommendations, evidence-based treatments and practical care plans to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals.
Having once embraced days of baby oil on the beach and hours of tanning at the salon, Mary is most grateful to pioneers in aesthetics who have paved the way toward correcting past damage and preventing future injury. Mary still enjoys her outdoor activities as a swimmer, urban farmer and general outdoor enthusiast, but better heeds guidelines for sun safety. She encourages everyone to make changes to protect the most fascinating organ of their body ~ their beautiful skin.
